Introduction and application areas of e-chains® cables

e-chain® cable

In the case of equipment units that need to move back and forth, in order to prevent cable entanglement, wear, pull-off, hanging and scattering, often put the cable into the cable drag chain, the cable is protected, and the cable can also move back and forth with the drag chain, this kind of high flexible special cable that can follow the energy chain to move back and forth without easy wear is called drag chain cable, usually can also be called trailing cable, tank chain cable.

Application areas

e-chain® cables are mainly used in: co-responsive electronic systems, automatic generation lines, storage equipment, robots, fire protection systems, cranes, CNC machine, and metallurgical industry.

Compose of

1.Tensile Centre

In the center of the cable, according to the number of cores and the space where each core crosses the space, there is as much as possible a real center line filling (instead of filling with some filler or garbage core made of waste plastic, as usual). This method can effectively protect the stranded structure and prevent the stranded wire from freeing to the center area of the cable.

2.Conductor structure

The cable should choose the most flexible conductor, generally speaking, the thinner the conductor, the better the flexibility of the cable, but the conductor is too thin, which will produce cable winding phenomenon. A series of long-term experiments provided the best shielding combination of diameter, length and knotting direction for a single wire, which has the best tensile resistance.

3.Core wire insulation

The insulation materials inside the cable must not stick to each other. And the insulation layer also needs to support each single strand of wire. Therefore, only high-pressure formed PVC or TPE materials can be used in the application of millions of meters of cable in energy chains to prove their reliability.
