FEP wires come in three common forms

FEP fluoroplastic wire can be made into solid core insulation two forms, of which the physical foam FEP fluoroplastic wire has been produced and used abroad, in the domestic is still in the process of development, usually we call FEP fluoroplastic wire usually refers to solid FEP fluoroplastic wire. There are three common forms of FEP fluoroplastic wires for single-core wires, coaxial wires, and multi-core wires, which are introduced below:

Multi-core wire

Twist single-core wires or coaxial wires together for easy multi-core wires. Among them, there are twisted and non-twisted, respectively used as industrial computer control and automation instrument control, for special occasions of five categories, super five types of wires, data transmission, audio and video transmission, etc., also use this FEP fluoroplastic wire.

Coaxial wire

The inner conductor is a single or multi-stranded copper lead (tinned copper silver copper wire), the diameter is 1.25~1.6mm, there are three insulation forms: A. fluoroplastic insulation, thickness of 0.5~0.7mm, B. fluoroplastic foam insulation, thickness of 2.5~3.0mm, C. fluoroplastic and polyethylene combined insulation, that is, the inner layer is insulated with fluoroplastic, the outer layer is insulated with polyethylene, of which the thickness of fluoroplastic is 0.04~0.07mm. It is worth mentioning that the coaxial wire insulated by fluoroplastic and polyethylene combines the advantages of product performance and material cost, and is worthy of vigorous promotion. These wires are often used as connection wires for RF wires and electronic devices.

Single core wire

Or called high temperature wire, its structure is the inner conductor for single or multi-stranded copper wire (tinned copper wire), the outer diameter of the conductor is 0.4~2.0mm, the insulation is fluoroplastic, the thickness of the insulation layer is 0.3~0.5mm, often used as aviation wires, electronic and electrical equipment wiring and lighting lines for special occasions.
