There are also technical specifications for charging cables

1.Conductor

  1. Number of cores: 2, 3, 4, 5 with or without signal control line, conductor belongs to category 6 in EN60228, tined or not tinned.
  2. Recommended line cross-section: 0.5mm², 1.5mm², 2.5mm², 4mm², 6mm², 10mm², 16mm²

2.Isolation layer

Allows winding of conductors with a suitable material isolation layer

3.Insulation

  1. The conductor must be covered with the specified insulating material.
  2. The insulation must be extruded and must be solid and uniform. After removing the insulation, it must not damage the insulation itself as well as the conductor or the tin plating present.
  3. The specified value of the insulation thickness shall comply with the standard provisions. The average value of insulation thickness should not be less than the specified value, and the thickness at the thinnest part of the insulation should not be less than 90% -0.1mm of the specified value

4. Core wire and filling

  1. The core wire must be stranded.
  2. The use of center fillers is allowed

5.Inner sheath (if available)

  1. The stranded core wire must be covered with an inner sheath of the same material as the outer sheath or insulation .
  2. The inner sheath must be extruded on the insulated core, allowing the voids embedded between the insulated cores to form an actual circle.
  3. There should be no harmful effects between the inner sheath and the insulation.
  4. The inner sheath should not adhere to the insulated core wire.
  5. The specified value of the inner sheath thickness must comply with the standard regulations.

6.Shield

  1. Bare copper wire or tinned copper wire braided shielding should be wrapped over the inner sheath.
  2. The nominal diameter of the copper wire should meet the standard given value.
  3. The total number of twists, twisting angles and filling coefficients within 100mm of shielding length, must meet the standard requirements.

7.Sheath or outer sheath

  1. The shielding or stranded core must be covered with the specified sheath material.
  2. The outer sheath must be single-layer extruded and must fit snugly, but not stick to the shield or core.
  3. The specified value of the sheath thickness shall comply with the standard provisions.
  4. The average value of the sheath thickness should not be less than the specified value, and the thickness at the thinnest part of the sheath should not be less than 85% -0.1mm of the specified value.
